Glen Nevis Valley, Scotland
The Glen Nevis Valley is set at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. Some scenes of the movie “Braveheart” with Mel Gibson were filmed here. The valley is almost deserted, and there are few places in the world as untouched as this. The weather is often gloomy, but this only adds to the rugged beauty of the place.
